Karen Adler
Ms. Adler wears a number of hats, including supervision of the mentoring program for Georgia Organics, and as a freelance editor. She is collaborating with us on development of Organic Extension Underground, a regional organic advisory service for growers.Emily Cantonwine
Dr. Cantonwine is a postdoctoral researcher in Tifton, Georgia at the National Environmentally Sound Production Agriculture Laboratory (NESPAL), contributing management and plant disease expertise to the organic peanut project. She has recently obtained a position on the faculty at Valdosta State University, but we hope will be able to continue working with us to develop organic peanuts. Go to Emily's web page.
Jay Chapin
A professor of entomology at Clemson's Edisto Research Station in Blackville, South Carolina, Dr. Chapin provides extension and research support for the growing peanut industry in that state. He also works with wheat, soybeans, and cotton. He assists in the organic insect control aspect of Hebert Green Agroecology's peanut production project.

Albert Culbreath
Dr. Culbreath is on the faculty of the University of Georgia and works on peanut disease control at the Southern Coastal Plains Research Station in Tifton. He developed the organic peanut research project with us and is one of the plant pathologists on that project. Go to Albert's web page.
Carroll Johnson
A weed scientist working extensively with peanuts, Dr. Johnson is based at the Tifton, Georgia Southern Coastal Plains Research Station with the Agricultural Research Service of the USDA. He's one of the collaborators in the organic peanut project.Barbara Shew
Dr. Shew is a plant pathologist at North Carolina State University specializing in peanut disease. She collaborates with us on organic peanut disease management studies, and has been a partner with Hebert Green Agroecology's owner, Mark Boudreau, on peanut intercropping work since 1997. Geoff Zehnder
The IPM and Sustainable Agriculture programs at Clemson University are overseen by Dr. Zehnder, as well as the operation of the student organic farm near campus. An entomologist by training, he works with us on organic tomato production studies, and coordinates the on-line Biological IPM course, for which we are the disease topic expert.
