Presentations: Controlling Early and Late Blight of Tomatoes Organically
Early blight, caused by the fungus Alternaria solani, and Late blight, caused by the water mold Phytophthora infestans (and made infamous because of its devastation of potatoes in the Irish potato famine), are perhaps the biggest limiting factors to organic tomato production in many regions with wet and sometimes cool conditions.
